Reality hacking

Based on the phenomena of sliding stones at Racetrack Plateau in Death Valley, various rocks were installed in the three court yards of the new school house in Cham-Huenenberg. In addition to the rocks and the sliding tracks in the concrete, the walls were covered with colored glass panels (90x90cm). The selection of the colors was based on three fotos of the surrounding landscape. Building by: Bünzli & Courvoisier Architects.
